Let us help you out using the tips below.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-379 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kravelv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/HD-TV.jpg\" alt=\"HD TV\" width=\"550\" height=\"325\"><\/p>\n<p>* A <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/mn\/search\/?_encoding=UTF8&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=390957&amp;field-keywords=3d%20gaming%20laptop&amp;linkCode=ur2&amp;sprefix=3d%20gaming%20laptop%2Caps%2C324&amp;tag=stoexeforwom-20&amp;url=search-alias%3Dcomputers&amp;linkId=HPV4TUVCUJZ5KFXG\" rel=\"nofollow\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #0000ff;\"><strong>32&#8243; Full HD TV<\/strong><\/span><\/a> costs around $360&nbsp;and will suit smaller living rooms. TVs look much smaller in the shop than in your home, so measure the space available before you buy.<\/p>\n<p>* A 1920 x 1080-resolution TV can display a 1080p image. You can still buy TVs with a 720p (1,366&#215;768) resolution, but they\u2019re no cheaper and the image won\u2019t be as sharp. Even so, it can be di\ufb03cult to tell the difference between 720p and 1080p on smaller screens.<\/p>\n<p>* Consider the number of inputs you need for your equipment. Two HDMI ports should be the minimum, but many TVs come with four. Don\u2019t forget devices such as games consoles and PVRs. If you have older equipment, check that your TV has enough SCART and component sockets. If you want to plug your PC into your TV, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kravelv.com\/6-overlooked-home-essentials-youll-need-on-a-busy-day\/\" class=\"wpil_internal_link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">you\u2019ll need<\/a> to use either HDMI or VGA inputs. Be aware that some TVs only let you use a PC on an analogue input, and others won\u2019t display the Windows Desktop at the TV\u2019s highest resolution.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-378 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kravelv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/HD-TV-Samsung-2012-ES-LED-580.jpg\" alt=\"HD TV Samsung-2012-ES-LED-580\" width=\"550\" height=\"325\"><\/p>\n<p>* The contrast ratio tells you the difference between the darkest and the brightest shades the screen can display. The higher the number, the darker the blacks and the brighter the whites. A screen with a high contrast ratio is more likely to show a wider range of detail. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/s\/?_encoding=UTF8&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=390957&amp;field-keywords=plasma%20tv&amp;linkCode=ur2&amp;rh=n%3A172282%2Ck%3Aplasma%20tv&amp;sprefix=Plasma%20TVs%2Ccomputers%2C482&amp;tag=stoexeforwom-20&amp;url=search-alias%3Delectronics&amp;linkId=DLBZGONQ7BORJ3MR\" rel=\"nofollow\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Plasma TVs<\/strong><\/span><\/a> generally have much higher contrast ratios than even the best LCD TVs can manage.<\/p>\n<p>* There are several ways to receive HD content. Sky HD has the widest selection of channels but requires a Sky HD box and monthly subscription. Freesat and Freeview HD bring you HD channels from the BBC, ITV and Channel 4. There are no monthly subscriptions \u2013 all you need is a compatible receiver.
