Here in Southern California, there are noticeable differences between cities. Parts of Eastvale and Corona have very high water pressure, while some areas of Riverside the pressure is on the low spectrum of the scale. You will want the range to be between 45-65\nPSI. Once your water pressure starts getting above 70 is cause for concern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why can this be costly?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>When\nyour plumbing fixtures wear out twice as fast as normal, you will need to\nreplace those specific fixtures.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.energy.gov\/energysaver\/water-heating\/selecting-new-water-heater\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Water heaters<\/a>&nbsp;can easily last for 10-15 years with\nproper maintenance and water pressure. However, if one of these is off, then\nyou are cutting down the life expectancy. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kravelv.com\/7-maintenance-tips-water-heaters\/\" class=\"wpil_internal_link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Water heaters<\/a> are not cheap to\nreplace, and if you cannot install it yourself, then you are looking at a\ncostly install. Depending on the size of your water heater and the location at\nthe house, the price can range from $1,200 to $2,500.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When\nthe washers start wearing out on sink faucets, it can cause problems with\nleaking. You may be able to replace the washer, and the faucet could work fine.\nHowever, many customers, at that point, choose to replace their valves\ncompletely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How to Test?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Most\nplumbing companies are more than happy to come out and provide your home with a\nfree plumbing inspection.
